Blue-J gives back series, Part One: My new glasses

I was able to receive new glasses recently through the efforts of Blue-J's leader and founder, Ms. Janet Schultz and her connection to the charity "Doing my part". My glasses had been bent out of shape while I was working on a drywall job the previous summer, and because I have been working with such a tight budget since, I have never been able to have them repaired. I was living through a period of homelessness at the time my glasses were bent.

How Blue-J received it's name.

Blue-J's name has nothing to with birds. 'Blue' is a reference to the color of the puzzle piece which the Autism speaks society uses as it's logo. 'J' stands for Janet Schultz, the owner of the company who has a background in special education (thus uniquely preparing her to lead the organization). The major function of the company is train promising people who happen to have Autism for the working world. Traits such as reliability, perseverance and attention to detail are developed.

Welcome

Hello friend! You have reached the official Blue-J blog. We set strict social and environmental bottom lines, in addition to an economic bottom line. For example, we use only eco-friendly products and we generally hire Autistic employees. We hire people with Autism because Blue-J small office cleaning is a non-profit which advances the idea that Asperger's syndrome is a parallel track of thinking, and not a disability.  If you would like to arrange a cleaning, call the number below or e-mail Janet at the address below for a price estimate:
